If air travel is necessary, we strongly recommend that you fly into Chicago O’Hare Airport.
If you fly into Midway, you will be better off taking the airport shuttle to O'Hare and lodging in the O’Hare area.

Midway / O’Hare Airport Shuttle
One hour trip each way. Leaves about 20 minutes after the hour.
Take hotel shuttle from O’Hare to your hotel.

Notes:
Shuttle Service is available from O'Hare Airport to most of the OÕHare area hotels. Most run every 15 minutes, some 30 minutes, most have 24 hour service. It is best to inquire at time of making reservations.

Keep in mind that Chicago is a popular convention town. Try not to delay making your hotel accommodations.

Directions to MPR's Chicago Office

From O’Hare Airport: (Approximate time to MPR: 15 minutes, depending on traffic)

Take I-90 East (Kennedy Expressway) towards the city to Harlem Avenue exit (exits right).
Go up ramp make left at light onto Harlem Avenue.
Continue North on Harlem Avenue for about 11Ú2 miles.
Cross over the railroad tracks and turn left at the light onto Northwest Highway.

Continue West on Northwest Highway, through next light (Devon Ave), for about a 1Ú4 mile.
Make left onto N. Oketo. Go to end (about a 1Ú4 block). Apartment parking lot will be on your left, and railroad tracks will be in front of you, turn right onto Olmsted Avenue. Don’t be deceived, Olmsted looks like an alley along the railroad tracks!
The MPR office is the second building on your right-hand side. (w/ brownish & tan awning over the door and flower boxes under the windows.)

From Midway Airport: (Approximate time to MPR: 1 hour, depending on traffic)

Exit airport to Cicero Avenue North - you should see signs for Cicero Avenue and I-55. (to know you are heading north on Cicero, street address numbers will be going down). Take Cicero Avenue North to I-55 (Stevenson Expressway).
Take I-55 East and stay in right lanes to I-90/I-94 (Kennedy/Dan Ryan).
Take the exit that says West to Wisconsin (exits right).
Stay in left lanes and you will come into I-90 (Kennedy Expressway) heading towards O’Hare Airport.
Continue on I-90 (4-5 miles), stay in left lanes. When you see signs for Foster Avenue, start getting over to the right lane. Take the Harlem Avenue exit (exits right).
Make right onto Harlem Avenue.
Continue North on Harlem Avenue for about 11Ú2 miles.
Cross over the railroad tracks and turn left at the light onto Northwest Highway.
